Realizzare bite con il software free "BlueSkyPlan"
BlueSkyPlan ormai lo conoscono tutti: è un software scaricabile gratuitamente che permette di creare guide chirurgiche paziente specifiche e modelli per allineatori ortodontici.
Questo programma però ha una funzione interessante che non tutti conoscono, ossia quella funzione che permette, al termine del setup ortodontico, di disegnare direttamente gli allineatori sulle arcate (anzichè riferirsi al classico sistema di termoformatura). Tale funzione è stata pensata soprattutto in vista dell'uscita di nuovi materiali che dovrebbero (condizionale d'obbligo) consentire di stampare in 3D direttamente gli allineatori invisibili evitando il processo di termoformatura. Come ho già detto in altri post questa opportunità è ancora molto remota e la maggior parte degli operatori continua, ovviamente, a produrre allineatori con termoformatura. La funzione di cui sto parlando però può essere "sfruttata" per disegnare e produrre bite da poter stampare in 3D. In realtà in rete c'è qualche tutorial in inglese che mostra a grandi linee come realizzare bite "gratuitamente" con MeshMixer, ottimo programma di modellazione 3D applicabile anche al dentale. Tuttavia questo programma non consente, ad esempio, di avere il controllo dei sottosquadri eliminandoli. Questo è un bel problema se si vuole produrre un bite indossabile.
Con BlueSkyPlan invece si può produrre un bite privo di sottosquadri che poi può essere rifinito in MeshMixer.
Se vi state chiedendo come guardate questo breve tutorial che, per forza di cose, è riservato a chi già utilizza BlueSkyPlan e conosce almeno un po il modulo "Ortodonzia" del programma. Buona visione.

My kid found block breaker google while looking for something simple to play on the tablet over the weekend, and I ended up trying a few rounds myself. The controls are intuitive enough that even without instructions, it took seconds to understand how to play. Loading was fast, no waiting around before getting into a match. The difficulty increases gradually as you clear more blocks, which felt fair rather than frustrating.
